The foggy mountain

This picture was taken by a drone in Switzerland. We climbed this mountain called Grosser Mythen at sunshine but once we reached the top everything was covered in mystic fog. Only a very brief moment it cleared a bit and i got the time to take this awesome picture.

Lofoten Islands Norway

This is our drone video of our epic Lofoten Islands tour in Norway shot with the DJI Mavic Pro in 4k.

We flew into Bodo and tried to fly there for the first time. It ended in a huge disaster and we almost lost the drone. The harbor and the nearby airport cause so much magnetic interference that the drone completely went nuts and first almost crashed into a building and then almost drowned in the sea. I had to emergency crash it into a rock. It was the only way to stop it. Fortunately only one rotor broke and I had some spare ones with me.
But it was scary as hell and every time for the next days we always super scared that it could happen again. So when we caught the ferry to Reine we decided to climb the Reinebringen directly after we arrived. It is the No.1 Tourist destination in Lofoten. This place is just so peaceful and the view is amazing. But is was quite windy and with the bad experience we did not dare to fly the drone up there so no footage is included in our video.
Anyway in the following four days we had the chance to walk some awesome hikes in the area and also including a climb of the famous Svolvaergeita. This climb will forever have a spot in our memories. They offer this climb as feasible for everybody but I would still say you need at least some basic rock climbing skills. It is not the hardest climb, but still it is rock climbing and you have to know what you are doing even you are secured the whole time. However the view is amazing. We were lucky that our guide Seth knew how to fly a Mavic so we could hand over the remote to him since his position was much more comfortable to fly than ours was as you see in the video 😀 we just hold on to the rock.

I hope you enjoy the video as much as we did enjoy the trip. A really magnificent place! 🙂
